Clearly ahead of the competition in so many aspects, Air New Zealand do it again, with an app that is useful, informative and a pleasure to use. Well done to all the guys and girls who made this work! I look forward to future functionality being added for overseas trips etc.

Works perfect and theres the necessary features and never closes unexpectedly.

App is not bad in general, but its pretty much useless for people who are not kiwis and traveling to nz (or to the pacific islands for example) cause you cant check in online. Always tells you they need to see an onward ticket and you have to do it at the airport. For me this is a no go for an airline app.

It would be nice to have the ability to add your International flights to the program, even if the electronic iPhone boarding pass is unavailable. It would allow you to have some of your flight information handy.

Doesnt auto- update, horrible interface and just about as useless as Air NZs current level of customer service

Book a flight. Select from location Vancouver No match found YOU FLY THERE YOU DOLTS Useless. Uninstall.

Would be cool if the airpoint number and barcode could show on passbook !! :)

This app sux balls. "Search for place" is primitive and restricted to major NZ, Australian and some South Pacific Islands. Does not allow for the widely used, internationally assigned, 3-letter airport code. AirNZ is supposed to be one of the better long haul carriers and had a multitude of locations they actually fly to. This app is a very poor representation of the AirNZ brand and they should be ashamed to be associated with it in its current state - so much for kiwi ingenuity...

After updating to this version, the ANZ app deleted my booking (which I had previously added), and refuses to add it back: "Your booking can not be displayed in this app". The app is not particularly useful if it cant display existing Bookings.

Theres no iPhone 5 support and no passbook support, the app is extremely outdated compared to the windows phone offering.

This keeps no records of flights. My flights had shown up in the app but did not go towards my air points. Now that my flights have already been taken, they are gone and I still dont have the air points. Now, I to call Air New Zealand to get my points. Whoever made this app should have made this a seemless and easy process.

This is a great app when flying air New Zealand, streamlines the entire process. My favorite feature is the coffee ordering function when in koru lounges. Great job!

Not so useful. Safari browsing the airing website is better then this taking space.

Does what it says quickly and easily! Very handy

This app is essential if like me you fly a lot. With no luggage you simply rock up to the gate, wave the bar code over the scanner and youre away. I hope it gets updated to work with the new apple passport system and it would be great if you could choose your seats or even book a flight from the app

Easy to use and view info. No problems with scanning info when checking in. Might be useful to have the international Koru and code-share lounge maps available. Everything in one place is more convenient then. Pretty good app for whats required.

Version 5 is a poor App indeed, truly "munted" by my reckoning. No check-in and boarding pass functionality, no seat selection or change ability, or even the simple stuff like determining if your departure time is AM or PM, or seeing your families bookings/seats and reservations. I sincerely hope this was not just upgraded for the pretty graphics with no eye on the functionality aspects needed by most modern fliers! Frustrated kiwi traveller!

My international Air NZ flight was postponed 13 hours but the app continued to report it was on time at the originally scheduled time. Like a twit I believed the app and made the journey to the airport. Without the app I would have checked the internet and figured I could go the next day which would have saved me long waits and a night in a crappy airport hotel- dont go believing that this app will push you notifications if the scheduled flight has problems arriving/leaving on time. Youre better off with nothing than with this unreliable app.

My flight got cancelled from San Francisco to Auckland New Zealand, and this app never notified me!
